Laura began her tourism career when she was just 19 years old and working for a specialist group tour operator. After completing her tourism diploma in Germany she spent several years working for a large wholesaler in London gaining experience in art tours, history tours and pilgrimages across Europe. With itchy feet she set off for Australia and into the sports tourism market looking after incoming tours to Australia from the UK and other countries. A few years later, finally back in the UK, Laura was disappointed by the lack of true personal service of many larger companies and decided to set up Silverblue Tours Ltd to create truly unique and memorable group tours.
The Original One – Mike Williams
Before retiring from Head of Rugby at Sevenoaks School, Mike organised one of the first ever UK school tours to British Columbia (1974) and then in 1996 a massive tour to Australia. He was inundated with requests from other schools wanting to go on tour and was soon running IntourSport with the first round the world tour being in 1980. Mike is now pretty much retired looking after his dogs, sheep, pony & donkeys but remains a valuable consultant for us on all matters concerning rugby and touring.
The South Africa expert – Peter Churchill
Peter spent over 25 years in the financial markets in London and New York. In 2004 he called time on the city and took up a role working alongside Mike at Intoursport World Travel. He has been very much involved in the local sports scene in Sevenoaks playing Kent league cricket, golf and sailing, but his major involvement has been with Sevenoaks Rugby Club where he coached youth age groups for a number of years before taking up a role as youth development manager. Peter has a vast knowledge of overseas schools and their rugby abilities, most notably in South Africa. Meticulous and careful you can be sure that you are always in good hands with Peter.

The respective laws accordingly to the country of residence of the passenger(s) usually only requires us to provide cover for Package & Linked Travel Arrangements, there is no requirement for Financial Protection of day trips or single elements, and none is provided unless the local law requires such.
