Singapore

Singapore is the most popular stopover destination for tours heading to Australia or New Zealand. The hockey centre at Delta Stadium is fantastic and we can usually secure fixtures against the National teams for you.
The Singapore Rugby Union is also based here and there is a refreshing pool on site for a dip after your matches.

Singapore is very busy and very hot and when the traffic and heat get too much you can escape toSentosa Island – just across a bridge from the city.

Here you can stroll along promenades, visit the famous Merlion, take luge rides, cable cars, visit the butterfly sanctuary, hold giant snakes and swim in the sea at man-made beaches.

Sightseeing in and around Singapore includes Changi Prison and Secret wartime tunnels, High Tea at Raffles followd by a Rickshaw ride through Chinatown or a relaxing bumboat cruise.

A really popular end to a longer tour to the Southern Hemisphere is to stop in Singapore on the way back and venture across to Indonesia. The islands of Bintan & Batam are a haven of peace after the buzz of Singapore and a perfect place to end your tour, hang out as a team and enjoy plenty of sunshine. We can arrange visits to the islands villages, the elephant orphanage, local schools and markets. If you would like to give something back to the environment then we can also arrange eco activities such as mangrove planting for you to take part in.
