Italy

Rome

Rome is one of the most impressive capital cities in Europe with some amazing things to see. Return to the Roman times with a visit to the Colosseum and the Roman Forum, see the Papal blessing at the Vatican as well as the beautiful ceilings in the Sistine Chapel, delve underground to the catacombs or visit the Borghese Gardens. In the evening stroll through the streets around the Trevi Fountain and eat ice-cream on the Spanish Steps. With so many things to see in Rome you will hardly have time to think about your next pizza.

As well as art and history tours we can also arrange rugby, football, volleyball and hockey tours in and around this magnificent city.

Milan

we have been working for many years with one of Milan’s leading rugby clubs and can offre great fixtures here. The youth hostel in the city centre is excellent and close to the main square and cathedral. A tour of the San Siro Stadium and an excursion to Lake Como will ensure your stay in Milan is unforgettable.

AC Milan, Inter, Dolce & Gabbana, Armani, Versace, Prada…. the list of famous brands in Milan is endless so if you have any time left over you must go shopping!

Florence

Florence is our favourite base for an art tour to Italy. Capital of Tuscany and situated on the Arno River, In Florence itself you can visit galleries all day long.. The Uffizi Gallery houses masterpieces from Michelangelo, Cimabue and Leonardo da Vinci, the Accademia is home to Michelangelo’s famous sculpture of David, the Pitti Palace itself is home to several museums and the Duomo is a great example of gothis architecture. The Ponte Vecchio and the Campanile Tower are two other things you must not miss in beautiful Florence.

When you have had your fill of galleries you can head out to Siena or Sam Gimignano in the lovely Tuscan countryside and maybe visit an Olive farm.

Venice

Although Venice is very expensive for accommodation, there is lots of cheaper accommdoation on the nearby Lido di Jesolo. We also work with some great properties in Treviso nearby and along the coast at Lignano there is a great sports village which offers a full board option and if perfectly situated for football groups wanting to visit Udinese FC.

Venice Island with it’a canals, bridges, galleries and the Doge’s Palace is a romantic and interesting place for a day trip or for an art tour.
