Passports & Visas:

Different countries have different rules on how long passports must be valid for. Since the UK left the EU, clients travelling to Europe must have passports issued less than 10 years before the date they enter the destination country and valid for at least 3 months after the day they plan to leave. It is your responsibility to make sure all students / passengers have the appropriate visa.

Please check here for passport & visa information  https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice You can also visit the UK Government passport page https://www.gov.uk/going-and-being-abroad/passports .

From the end of 2026 you will need an ETIAS to visit countries within the European Union For more information click here https://etias.com/

Health Advice:

We will let you know if you need compulsory immunisations or medications for your trip. You should also seek advice on recommended vaccinations and precautions from a health professional – either a GP, a practice nurse, a pharmacist or a travel health clinic -ideally at least eight weeks before departure. Further travel health advice can be found on https://travelhealthpro.org.uk/countries

Travel Insurance:

Most school trips are covered by the school’s insurance policy but you should check this to make sure. Make sure it covers cancellation, delay and accident / injury including accommodation & repatriation in case of a severe incident. Travel insurance is important and should be in place as soon as you book your tour.
