Vancouver
Bordering the Pacific Ocean, Vancouver’s Stanley Park is in one clichéd word: breath-taking. With a whopping 1001 acres of green land, this park is a favourite for visitors and locals, alike. On any given day of the week you’ll find hundreds of Vancouverites cruising the 8.8km seawall by foot, bicycle or rollerblades. Among the 200 kilometres of trails, roads and old growth rainforest lies a collection of monuments, totem poles, sculptures, tennis courts, the Vancouver Aquarium, and to the delight of golfers, a great little pitch and putt. There is also a swimming pool at 2nd Beach and “Theatre Under the Stars”, which puts on fantastic musicals during the summer season. Text
